: : Electronic Choke : :
The MOS ELECTRONIC
CHOKE for fluorescent
lamps is the result of recent development of modern
technology in the field of electrical lighting. The
conventional ballast commonly used have losses to the
amount of 15W to 18W in a typical 40W tube resulting
in nearly 40% excess power consumption. The new
Electronic Chokes besides overcoming the above said
problems in conventional Chokes have distinct
advantages over them.

ADVANTAGES:
-
It saves 40% of the energy cost
-
It saves 35% to 40% in the Input power
-
Increases the lighting efficiency of the system
(Foot candle/Watt) by 14% approximately
-
Operates efficiently in very wide voltage
Fluctuations (i.e., 120V to 260V) without unduly affecting Tube life and
performance
-
Gives higher power factor of 0.9 and above
-
Is the Durable as the conventional Ballast
-
No need of starters and capacitors which are
used in conventional Ballasts
-
Almost doubles the life of the tube
-
Built in instant start/rapid start systems helps
to avoid starting transients
-
Gives stabilized light output and no
stroboscopic effect or Flickering, good for eyes
-
The Temperature rise is being very little
resulting in lower heat dissipation
-
No humming noises, Operates very silently
-
Has lesser maintenance requirements and reduced
inventory
-
Can operate more efficiently with diesel generator sets.
